Goo The Teacher has to be my students favourite music game this week!
It’s a ‘Beat The Teacher‘ style game where the person standing under the goo machine when it goes off (thankfully a virtual one!) gets covered in green slime! The machine moves between teacher and student, and the only way students can pass the peril to their teacher is by naming treble or bass notes correctly. A great incentive to really get to know their notes!
Goo The Teacher is part of a collection of digital games for music lessons called ‘Studio: Beat The Teacher‘. Topics are all grade one theory level and include time signatures, time values, key signatures, numbered intervals, tonic triads and more.
